If you are having trouble streaming to your X (twitter) account on StreamYard this could mean a few things:
You don't have a premium X account
- On July 14, 2024 X (Twitter) announced that streaming to X will require Twitter's Premium plan. If you have the check mark and you still can't stream, try clearing your cache and cookies, removing the destination from SY and re-adding it.
Your premium X account is under review
- Log into your X account > Select your profile menu > Select "Premium" > Select "Preferences"
- If you see "We are reviewing your account" under "Manage subscription" you will not be able to stream until the review process has been completed
StreamYard lost connection to your X account
- If you receive an error notifying you that StreamYard has lost connection to your X account head over to your destinations page
- Click on the three dots to the right of your X account and click "reconnect"
- If this does not resolve the issue try removing the destination completely and then re-add it
There is an issue on X
- Try going live directly on your X account following the steps here
- If you are unable to go live, you will need to reach out to X directly by sending a direct message to @premium on X
There is an issue with your device, browser or network connection (ie. "an error occurred, please wait a moment and try again")
- Try refreshing the page.
- Make sure you're still connected to the internet (can you reach streamyard.com?)
- Relaunch your browser/Restart your computer.
- Test your network speed here, and make sure the download speed is around what's advertised for your service.
- Try using an Incognito/Private window in your browser.
- Clear your cache/cookies in your browser.
- Disable any adblockers/browser extensions that may affect web pages.
- Check your Firewall/Proxy/VPN settings
