How to stream to Vimeo using StreamYard

StreamYard supports Vimeo as a native destination. You can connect your Vimeo account directly to go live and upload finished recordings to Vimeo.

📍
Important: Connecting Vimeo as a native destination requires a Vimeo Advanced or Enterprise plan. If you’re on a different plan, you can still stream to Vimeo by adding it as a Custom RTMP destination.

Connect your Vimeo account

  1. Navigate to your StreamYard destinations page and click Add Destination
  2. Select Vimeo and authorize StreamYard to access your Vimeo account in the pop-up window.
  3. Once connected, Vimeo will appear as an available destination when creating or editing a broadcast.

Stream to Vimeo using Custom RTMP

If your Vimeo plan doesn't support the native integration, you can stream using StreamYard's Custom RTMP feature.
