Want to go live effortlessly? StreamYard makes it simple! Follow these quick steps to set up and start your next live stream in minutes. Here is how:
1. Head to StreamYard, and click Live stream on the Create section found on Home page.
2. To create a live studio, select Studio. If you would like to stream a Pre-Recorded video as if it were "live", you can select Pre-recorded video (more information on pre-recorded streaming can be found here).
3. Under Select Destinations, select the desired destination(s) by clicking on the icon(s) or click the "+" icon to add the platforms that you'd like to stream to (if you haven't added them already via your Destinations tab).
4. Enter your title and description in the corresponding boxes. If multiple destinations were selected, you can make these titles and descriptions different for each selected destination By clicking Customize for each destination!
5. If you would like to schedule your stream for a later time, you can select the option Schedule for Later*. Here, you will be able to set your desired start time for the stream.
*Note: Scheduling a stream creates a post for your audience notifying them of the start time of your broadcast, but does not automatically start your live show. You will still need to access the studio and click Go Live on the date of your schedule broadcast.
⚠️ Some destinations have scheduling limitations. To make sure that the destination you add allows scheduling a stream, you can check this guide.
6. If you'd like to add a thumbnail to your stream, click Upload thumbnail to upload an image from your computer.
7. Once you've made your desired changes, click Create live stream!
8. When you are ready to go live, enter the studio and click Go Live in the upper right hand corner!
10. Click End Stream to finish.
11. Your broadcast recordings will be available via your Library section.
