Introduction
This page outlines certain information that we are required to provide under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 October 2022 on a Single Market for Digital Services and amending Directive 2000/31/EC (Digital Services Act) (“DSA”).
Service classification
StreamYard is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables users to create, edit, manage, and broadcast or embed audio-visual content through third-party platforms and destinations. StreamYard does not host user content unless the user expressly chooses to save such content on the service.
StreamYard also offers webinar functionalities. Webinar sessions are accessible via private links that the user shares with selected participants. StreamYard does not itself publish or otherwise disseminate information to the public. The service does not provide site-wide browsing, public search, curated discovery features, content recommendations, personalized feeds, or other functionalities designed to facilitate the broad discovery of content across the service or online.
For the purposes of the DSA, StreamYard qualifies, depending on the specific functionality used and whether content is stored on the platform, as either a mere conduit service or a hosting service provider within the meaning of Article 3(g) DSA.

These documents describe the types of content and behavior that are not permitted and the actions we may take in response to violations.
Content moderation
We prohibit certain content and conduct as described in the StreamYard Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
We use a combination of automated tools, human review, and, in some cases, third-party moderation providers to detect, be notified, assess, and act on content that may violate applicable law or breach our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
We may use automated systems, including AI-based technologies, to monitor content. However, we do not undertake to review every piece of content uploaded to our services, nor do we perform any pre-approval or pre-clearance of content prior to submission.
We respond to notices of alleged infringement of third-party rights or illegal or inappropriate content that comply with and satisfy the requirements set out by applicable law.
Content and accounts flagged by these tools or third parties may be automatically restricted or queued for human review by our Trust & Safety team.
For further information, please refer to our Content Moderation Policy.
