Starring comments in StreamYard

If you get lots of comments on your streams, and want to pick out a few to show/reference later, you can star them to make them easy to find!

How to Star a Comment

  1. Once you find a comment you want to save, click the star icon to the right of it to star it.

  2. Once you have at least one comment starred, there will be a new Starred tab at the top of the chat.

  4. From here, you can read your starred comments, or show them on-stream!

Super Chats

Super Chats will automatically show up in StreamYard when streaming to YouTube, no other configuration is necessary! They will also be automatically starred in the StreamYard studio for your broadcast:

If you'd rather have more control over which comments are starred, you can disable the auto-star feature by:

  1. From within your StreamYard studio, click on the Starred tab in the comments area.
  2. Slide the toggle off next to Auto-star superchats

That's it! They will still show in your studio chat but they will no longer be starred automatically.
