How do I show comments/chat on stream?

StreamYard makes it easy to show comments from YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitch.

Here's how 

  1. Comments from all supported platforms will show up in the Comments section on the right side of the StreamYard studio.

  2. To display a comment on your stream, click on it to display it.
    To hide the comment, click on it again.

  3. Comments that have already been shown on stage during your current session will appear slightly faded, so you can easily tell which ones you've already used. You can hover over any faded comment to restore it to full opacity and read it more easily. The faded state resets when you leave or refresh your studio session.

Styling your comments

You can change how a comment looks by adjusting the Theme and Brand color in the Style tab on the right.

FAQ

Why do some comments look grayed out?

Comments that have already been shown on stream during your current session appear slightly faded. This is intentional — it helps you avoid showing the same comment twice. The effect resets when you leave or refresh the studio.
