When creating a StreamYard On-Air webinar, make sure to follow the correct steps described here.
If you encounter an issue, please check the list below and follow the dedicated instructions:
Webinar Registration Issues
π Attendees are unable to register for the webinar.
Ensure that the registration feature is enabled for your webinar. Navigate to your On-Air settings and confirm that the "Registration" option is turned on. If it is already enabled, double-check if your registration form has any required fields that might be blocking submissions.
π I need to edit the attendee registration details.
To track the number of attendees who registered before your scheduled webinar, go to the StreamYard Homepage. Click on the three dots to the right of your webinar and select "Manage registrants."
Please note that it is currently not possible to edit the responses of a registrant. However, youΒ can click on Export CSV to download all the registration information and then edit the file.Β

Webinar Information Issues
π I need to edit the Webinar details and description.
To edit your Webinar details and description, follow these steps:
- Enter the studio where you setup On-Air as the Destination
- Click on the On-Air icon at the top right of your screen
- From the dropdown, click on "Edit"
You should now be able to easily edit your description without starting from scratch!
Β
Connection and Stability Issues
π My webinar is lagging or has connection issues.
StreamYard On-Air is designed to be as stable as YouTube Live, but connection issues can still occur due to local network problems. Make sure you're using a wired internet connection with at least 10 Mbps upload speed for the best performance. Closing unnecessary applications on your computer may also improve performance.
π Attendees report buffering or delays.
Ask attendees to refresh their browsers or switch to a different network. Also, ensure that the viewer limit of your selected plan isnβt being exceeded (e.g., 1000 on the Advanced Plan, 10000 on Teams).
Β
On-Demand Viewing and Tracking
π Attendees want to watch the webinar after it ends.
Make sure the "Available on-demand" option is enabled in your webinar settings. This will allow attendees to watch the webinar recording after the live broadcast. You can disable this feature at any time if you no longer want the recording to be available.
π My webinar is not available to watch after it ended, although I selected "Available on-demand"
Make sure you have enough storage on your account before starting your webinar. Unfortunately, if you start an On-Air Webinar with full or almost full storage, StreamYard won't be able to save it and make your recording available. It is not possible to recover a webinar after it ends if your storage was full at the time of starting your live.
π I can't track how many attendees registered or watched the webinar.
To check how many attendees watched the webinar after it ended, go to StreamYard Homepage > On the Streams and recordings section click on Past. Find the webinar on the list, click on the three dots to the right and select "Manage registrants". Here, you can view the number of registrations, live attendees, and on-demand viewers.
Β
Viewers and Recording Limits
π How many viewers can watch my webinar at once?
The viewer limit depends on your plan:
- Advanced: 1000 viewers
- Teams: 10,000 viewers
- Business Plan: Starts at 10,000 viewers and can be upgraded to 100,000.
These limits apply to live viewers, not the number of total registrations.
π Can I stream longer than the webinarβs scheduled duration?
You can continue streaming past the scheduled time. However, note that this only affects how the event appears on viewers' calendars, not the actual stream time.
π Is there a limit on webinar recordings?
The maximum recording time is 10 hours on most plans, with up to 24 hours available on the Business Plan.
