My Live Stream is not starting on Instagram

 👉🏻 If your stream is not starting on Instagram, please follow these steps:

• • Click "Go live” on both StreamYard and Instagram. If you don't, the stream won't appear correctly.
    
    
  • Make sure that you have copied the Instagram Stream Key correctly. If you're in doubt, try refreshing Instagram to set up the stream again, generating a new stream key by following the instructions in the article "Create an Instagram Live Video."
    
    
  • After copying the stream key, remember to keep the Instagram tab open on your device until the stream has ended.
    ⚠️ If you close out of the Instagram tab while you are live, the stream will end immediately on Instagram's end. When you visit Instagram again, you will need to connect it to StreamYard again, using a new stream key. 
    
    
  • If you added Instagram as an additional destination to a stream that you had previously scheduled on StreamYard and closed the Instagram page, the stream key might have refreshed. Set up the stream again on Instagram and update the stream key in StreamYard's studio.

👉🏻 If you can't find your stream on Instagram after it ends, please note that Instagram live streams will not be visible on your Instagram profile once the stream has ended. To access your Instagram stream afterward, please ensure you have enabled archiving so you can access the stream in your account settings.
