How to Change your Camera Shape

You can now choose from three different camera slot shapes inside your StreamYard studio! 

Changing Camera Shape

  1. Enter your Broadcast Studio or 

    create a new one

    .

  2. Click on the Style section on the right-hand side of the Studio.
  3. Scroll down to the Default Camera section of the Style TabScreenshot 2025-01-10 at 14.46.14.png
  4. Select one of our three camera shape options: Rectangle (default), Square, and Circle

  5. (Optional) Enable the Rounded Corners toggle for the square or rectangle camera shapesScreenshot 2024-10-23 at 10.36.33 AM.png

Can I create a custom layout with different camera shapes?

Can a guest choose their own camera shape?

Unfortunately no, only hosts or admins can change camera slot shapes inside the broadcast studio

Can I edit a camera shape when I am live?

Yes, camera shapes can be adjusted before or during your broadcast

Why is my camera displaying in an unexpected shape?

If your camera is showing as a circle, square, or a different shape than you intended, it may have been accidentally changed in the Style panel. You can fix it by following the steps above.
