After a broadcast, your recording will typically appear in your library tab and your past broadcast section. If you are unable to find your recording, there are a couple reasons why this may be the case:
1. You accidentally deleted the recording. This could have been done by you or a team member. If you do not remember deleting a recording, check in with your team members to see if one of them may have deleted the broadcast. Please note that if a recording has been deleted, it cannot be recovered.
2. You aren't logged into the correct StreamYard account. You can check the email you are logged in under by clicking My Account in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
3. You've selected a different team. If you've been added to another StreamYard account as a co-host or admin, you may need to confirm that you have the correct team selected. To switch between teams, click the dropdown menu at the top left corner of your screen.
4. You didn't have adequate storage at the time of your broadcast. If your account has run at of storage at the time you start your broadcast a recording will not be created. If you are out of recording space on your account you can purchase more storage or you can delete old recordings to free up space.
📌 If you free up space on your account after you've started a broadcast your next broadcast will be saved. Old broadcasts unfortunately cannot be recovered
5. You weren't on a paid plan at the time of your broadcast. If you are not on a paid plan, your live stream will not be recorded and saved on your account. You will need to upgrade to a paid plan in order to livestream and record simultaneously.
📌 Live streams conducted on the free plan cannot be retroactively recorded. Only future live streams will be saved if you choose to upgrade your account.
