Automatic Intro and Outro videos

You can set video clips to play automatically at the beginning or at the end of your broadcasts on all our paid plans.

This feature works in the studio. In a live studio, the intro plays when you click Go Live and the outro when you click End Stream; in a record-only studio, the intro plays when you click Start recording and the outro when you click End recording. It isn't available for pre-recorded or automatic streams, which don't run through a studio. See Pre-recorded Streaming for options there.

Here's how:

  1. In the studio, click on Media assets
  2. To upload your video, click on Add video clip under Video clips
  3. Click under Intro or Outro and select your clip

You can easily preview the videos to make sure everything is perfect before starting the broadcast.

Here's how it works: When you click Go Live, the video clip you set as Intro will play. When you click End Stream, the video that you set as Outro will play.

Other useful info:

  • Intro and outro videos set in Reusable Studios will apply to future broadcasts as well, saving you extra time when recording multiple episodes.
  • Your video has to be less than 10 minutes long and under 200 MB (60 minutes and 1.2 GB for StreamYard Business)
  • Videos must be MP4 files. Unfortunately, the MOV and MV4 files are not supported.

This feature is available on the Core plan and above
