LinkedIn provides a privacy option to disable showing your name and profile picture to third parties in search. This is great for privacy, but prevents StreamYard from showing your username and profile picture when commenting on a stream. "LinkedIn User" will show as the commenter instead.
Allow StreamYard see your Name and Profile Picture
To let StreamYard display your name and profile picture on streams, follow these steps:
- Head to LinkedIn's Visibility settings page.
- Click Profile discovery and visibility off LinkedIn.
- Enable Profile visibility outside LinkedIn.
Your name and profile picture show will now show up when commenting on StreamYard streams!
