Facebook now has a separate "management" page, called the Facebook/Meta Business Suite.
Page access given here is different than page access given through Facebook itself and does not immediately allow access to stream through StreamYard.
How to provide someone streaming access to a page through the Meta business account:
You must have your Facebook Business portfolio tied to your Facebook account that you sign in to facebook.com with.
- Invite yourself to your Facebook Business portfolio.
From the People page, for the Business portfolio, click Invite people. - Follow the instructions to Assign access.
It is not necessary to grant full control. - Proceed to follow the instructions to Assign business assets. Select your page from the dropdown menu, then select the access type you'd like to grant.
It is not necessary to grant full control. You can find more information on access types here. - Proceed to Review invitation: if everything looks good, click Send invitation. You'll receive an email where you can accept the invitation
- You should now be able to connect the Facebook page on StreamYard normally.
Make sure you've signed in to facebook.com as the Facebook account that was provided access.
