You can now resize and reposition static overlays directly inside your studio. You can even make changes while you're live, and your audience will instantly see the updated overlay in real time.
How to Transform an Overlay
- Enter your Studio and open the Media assets section.
- Click the three dots on a static overlay thumbnail.
- Select Transform.
- Drag to reposition and use the handles to resize your overlay anywhere on screen. Hold Shift while resizing to lock the aspect ratio.
- Click Save to update the original overlay, or Save as new to keep the original and create a new version with the new position.
Transform Overlays in MARS Studios
In MARS studios, overlay positions start out synchronized — moving an overlay in landscape will also update its portrait position. Once you move an overlay in portrait, the two orientations become independent and you can position them separately. To sync them again, click the Sync overlay button in the toolbar.
FAQ
Can I transform an overlay while I'm live?
Yes. Once you hit Save, your audience will instantly see the updated overlay.
What's the difference between Save and Save as new?
Save overrides the original overlay asset with the new position. Save as new creates a brand new overlay asset, leaving the original unchanged.
