StreamYard lets you create branded QR codes that viewers can scan to follow your social profiles, visit a website, or join your community — directly from your live stream or recording.

How to add a QR code to your stream

  1. From inside your StreamYard studio, click Widgets on the right panel.
  2. Scroll to the QR Code section and click the + New QR code button to open the QR code modal.
  3. Enter the URL or destination you want viewers to reach.
  4. Use the Logo picker to choose which brand logo appears in the center of the code.
  5. Optionally toggle Show Name to display a label beneath the QR code.
  6. Customize colors using the Foreground, Background, and Finder pattern color pickers — or let StreamYard sync them automatically to your Brand color.
  7. Click Add to stage to display the QR code on your broadcast.

QR codes in Reusable Studios

QR codes are persisted across sessions in a Reusable Studio. Once configured, your QR code settings — including logo and colors — are saved and available the next time you enter the studio.
