How to create a poll in StreamYard
- Create a broadcast from the Streamyard Home page, or open your Reusable Studio.
- In the studio, go to Widgets.
- Click + New Poll.
- Enter your poll question and answer options.
- Click Create to save your poll.
How to show a poll during a livestream
After you create your poll, click Start & Show when you're ready to display it during your livestream.
Your audience will be able to vote live, and the poll results will update in real time as responses come in.
While a poll is active, you can also:
- Pause — temporarily stop accepting votes while keeping the poll visible on screen.
- Resume — reopen voting after pausing.
- Reset — clear all votes and start the poll over.
- End — close voting and remove the poll from the screen.
Reuse polls in a Reusable Studio
If you save a poll in your Reusable Studio, you can use it again in future livestreams. This is helpful if you regularly ask the same audience questions or want to keep recurring poll templates ready for upcoming shows.
