Can't upload videos/slides/brand assets on MacOS?

If nothing happens when trying to upload videos, slides, or brand assets in StreamYard, and you're running MacOS, it may be a browser or permissions issue preventing your browser from accessing files.

Restart the Browser

Sometimes this issue can be caused by a simple Chrome bug. Click Chrome in the upper left hand corner, then click Quit Google Chrome to quit out of the browser fully. When you open it back up again, the issue should be resolved!

Check Disk Access Permissions

Still unable to access your files after a browser restart? Check your disk access permissions:

  1. Click the Apple icon at the top left of your screen, and click System Preferences.

  3. Click Full Disk Access on the left sidebar, and make sure the box next to your browser is checked on the right sidebar.
If your browser doesn't show up in the list here, no problem, continue on.

  4. Repeat the process for Files and Folders.
  5. Restart your browser.

You should now be able to upload files!
