 👉🏻 What Are Sound Effects?

Sound Effects are short audio clips that you can play during your live broadcasts and recordings to enhance viewer engagement and add professional polish to your content. This feature enables you to create a more dynamic audio experience by layering sounds over your existing audio elements. You can choose between 13 built-in professional sound effects from StreamYard's built-in library, or you can upload your own. Supported file formats and sizes are as follows:

Supported file size: max 30 MB.

 👉🏻 How to Use Sound Effects

To start using sound effects, enter your StreamYard studio and look for the Sounds section in your Media Assets panel on the left side of your Studio.

The section will display both StreamYard's curated collection of professional sounds and any custom audio files you've uploaded. You can add new sounds by clicking on the "More sounds" button and by selecting or uploading new files.

 Once the sound effects panel is open, you can enhance your broadcasts by:

  1. Playing sounds during your live stream: Simply click any sound in your library to play it instantly. The audio plays immediately through your broadcast, reaching all viewers in real-time. You can play multiple sounds throughout your session without any interference with your voice, background music, or other audio elements.
  2. Managing your sound collection: You can rename custom sounds to make them easier to identify, delete sounds you no longer need, and organize your collection however works best for you.

Sounds you complete creative control over your broadcast's audio environment, allowing you to create professional-quality content that keeps your audience engaged from start to finish.
