Connecting StreamYard to Brightcove

You can connect StreamYard directly to Brightcove to stream from StreamYard’s studio into your Brightcove account. Once connected, you’ll be able to use StreamYard’s production tools while delivering your broadcast to Brightcove for easy embedding, sharing, or publishing to your audience.

How to connect StreamYard to Brightcove

1. Log in to Brightcove in your browser.

2. Log in to StreamYard in the same browser (open a new tab).

3. In StreamYard, click Destinations → Add a Destination → Brightcove.
   
   

4. Find your Brightcove Account ID

   • In Brightcove, go to the Admin panel.

   • Locate your Account Information section and copy your Account ID and Paste it in StreamYard
     
     
     
     

5. Generate API Authentication Credentials

   • In Brightcove, go to the API Authentication section.

   • Click + Add Application.

   • In the pop-up window:

     1. Enter a Name (e.g., StreamYard).

     2. Add a short description.

     3. Select the associated Brightcove account.

     4. Under Live2 Jobs, check all permission boxes.

     5. Click Save.

6. Copy your Client ID and Client Secret from Brightcove.

7. Enter your Brightcove credentials in StreamYard

   • Client ID, and Client Secret into the fields.

   • Click Add Destination.
     
     

✅ That’s it! You’ve successfully connected Brightcove to StreamYard. You can now select Brightcove as a destination when creating broadcasts in StreamYard and stream directly to your Brightcove account.
