Can I bring StreamYard into a Zoom meeting?

StreamYard is not directly integrated with Zoom- however, by utilizing Zoom's screen capture feature, you can bring StreamYard streams into a Zoom meeting!
Note: We recommend using dual monitors for this setup, as it makes it easier to use, but option one is possible to do with a single monitor.

Option 1, Portion of Screen:

  1. Start/join your StreamYard studio from the home page.
  2. Start/join your Zoom meeting as normal.
  3. Arrange the Zoom and StreamYard windows such that you can see both on screen at once (or use dual monitors). Example:

  4. In Zoom, click the green Share Screen button at the bottom.

  5. Click to Advanced, and click Portion of Screen.

  6. Drag and resize the green selection box until it surrounds the StreamYard stream screen. It should look like this:

  7. That's all! Your Zoom guests should see something like this in Zoom now:

Option 2, Fullscreen StreamYard:

Note: This option requires a 2nd display, one for Zoom and your other apps, and one to have StreamYard fullscreen.

  1. Start/join your StreamYard studio from the home page.
  2. Start/join your Zoom meeting as normal.
  3. Move StreamYard to your 2nd display, and make the stream screen fullscreen by clicking the button in the bottom right corner.

  4. In Zoom, click the green Share Screen button at the bottom.

  5. Click to Basic, and choose StreamYard -- Browser Name(where Browser Name is Chrome or Firefox).
