Chrome Browser offers live captions for all audio content! This means that you can see live captions of what everyone else in the StreamYard studio is saying, right in your browser. These captions also work when viewing streams or videos on any platform, including StreamYard.

These captions are for viewing only, and can't be shown on stream. They must be enabled on the viewer's end.

How to Enable Chrome Browser Captions

  1. First, make sure you're at least on Chrome version 89 or later.
You can check your version of Chrome by clicking the 3 dots in the top right, click "Help", and click "About Google Chrome".

It'll show the version like this; if there's an update, it's recommended to allow it.
