Yes! You can host your stream from an Apple iPad (or iPhone), but keep in mind some of the features are not available. Please note that you cannot screen share natively from an iPad/iPhone or use the green screen/virtual background feature. All other features still work normally -- like inviting guests, showing comments, and playing video clips. When using an iPhone or iPad you will need to use the native Safari browser with StreamYard.
What versions of iOS are supported?
- iOS 10 and below: Not supported
- iOS 11-12.2: Supported, but audio-only (no camera support)
- iOS 12.2-13: All features supported, except hosting
- iOS 13+: All features supported
