There is a 20 hour per month streaming limit on StreamYard's free plan, however, there are no streaming limits on StreamYard's paid plans. Please keep in mind most destinations have their own streaming limits.
The limits are:
- 8 hours on Facebook (profiles, pages, groups).
- No limit on YouTube (though only the last 12 hours will be recorded).
- 4 hours on LinkedIn.
- 48 hours on Twitch.
- 6 hours on Twitter for scheduled streams/Unlimited for non-scheduled streams
Stream Recording Limits
Live streams are automatically recorded when you are on a paid plan with us. While there are no streaming limits on StreamYard's end, there are stream recording limits. This means that there is a limit on how much of your live stream is recorded at once within StreamYard. These recording limits are outlined below for the different plans.
- Free Plan: Live streams are not recorded on the free plan.
- Basic Plan: 10 hours.
- Professional Plan: 10 hours.
- Premium Plan: 10 hours.
- Growth Plan: 10 hours.
- Business Plan: 24 hours.
It is important to note the amount of storage space that you have available can affect recording. When you exceed your storage hours, you will still be able to broadcast, but the recording feature will be temporarily disabled. To re-enable recording, you’ll either need to add more storage hours to your plan with our storage add-on (this is a paid add-on) or delete some of your recordings to free up space.
You can find more information about the storage space on the various plans and deleting recordings here. For information on pre-recorded streaming, please review the following article.
