You can connect an existing LinkedIn event to StreamYard by following these steps:

On LinkedIn, make sure that the event format is set as "LinkedIn Live".
The format on LinkedIn must be "LinkedIn Live Event" or else you won't be able to connect it to StreamYard. -
On StreamYard, connect the LinkedIn Page or Profile that is hosting the event in the destinations section.
- Go to the Home section and click Create > Live Stream
- Select the LinkedIn Page or Profile hosting the event, and click Use an existing LinkedIn Event.
- Select the event you'd like to stream to, and it will be added as a destination.
It is not possible to access the Use an existing LinkedIn Event option if you are editing an existing stream.

LinkedIn doesn't support editing the stream details through StreamYard yet.
If you need to make a change, you will need to delete the already scheduled stream on StreamYard, and create a new one. Or remove it as a destination and re-add it to the stream.

LinkedIn Schedule Restrictions
- You can schedule a minimum of 1 hour before your stream.
- The scheduled live time is displayed in the user’s local time.
- You can go live up to 15 minutes early.
- You can go live a max of 2 hours late. If you miss your stream (over 2 hours late) the post will update to say “cancelled” and no notifications will be sent out.
👉🏻 If you have issues connecting the existing LinkedIn Event:
- Double-check that you have connected the correct LinkedIn Profile/Page to your StreamYard Destinations tab.
- Make sure that the event has not already been selected as a destination on a separate stream or webinar.
- Make sure you are creating a new stream from scratch. It is not possible to access the Use an existing LinkedIn Event option if you are editing an existing stream.
👉🏻 If you have issues streaming to the existing LinkedIn Event:
- Check that you didn't edit or update the stream details through StreamYard. If you need to make a change, you will need to delete the already scheduled stream on StreamYard, modify the event on LinkedIn and then create a new stream on StreamYard from scratch.
