By default, StreamYard will send anyone who registers for your webinar:
- One confirmation email upon signing up for the webinar.
- One reminder email 24 hours before the start of the webinar.
- One reminder email 1 hour before the start of the webinar.
- One email containing a link for viewers to watch the recording of the webinar if on-demand was enabled.
- Access code emails as required to enter a restricted webinar or a private webinar.
To disable email notifications follow these steps:
- Click the three dots on your scheduled webinar, and navigate to your On-Air settings:
- Click the Emails tab on the left hand side.
- Toggle Send confirmation, reminder, and thank you emails off.
Limitations:
- Currently, it's not possible to choose which specific emails to send or not send. You can only disable or enable all emails.
- It is also not possible to edit the content of any of these emails — the email text is fixed and cannot be customized.
- Please note that all emails are sent from the address yourfriends@onair.streamyard.com. It's currently not possible to customize the email address from which the notifications are sent.
- Please note that disabling this setting will not affect receiving email codes for restricted webinars or private webinars.
📌 Future On-Air webinars will automatically carry over the setting that was previously used.
Related to
